Our last day in Hawaii was frantic. Somehow we made it on the plane with a ridiculous amount of luggage, filled primarily with snacks. Packing started off as a thoughtful affair since we are traveling as light as possible. However, towards the end things devolved...
Deb: "Which one of these 3 virtually identical black scoop neck shirts from the Gap do you think I should take?"
Dan: "They all look the same"
Deb: [in a much higher pitched voice] "But they aren't...there are nuances...should I try them all on for you again?"
It got ugly.
In the end, I decided "not to decide" and threw everything in a suitcase. I'll leave the tough choices until buffalo, and leave things at my parents. Luckily, my luggage is currently lost, so my choice of outfit is still what I wore on the plane. Fate always helps with the hard decisions :-)
Our first stop of the trip before the trip is to visit our brothers. Dan is spending one day in vegas gambling and hitting the strip joints with David. I'm in Phoenix with my brother Mike and his girlfriend Jackie for a couple days.
For those of you who don't know, my brother runs a crazy body jewelry business. http://www.deserttrends.com To earn my keep, I'm helping him sort and pack nipple rings, tounge rings and things with french ticklers that I can't even identify.
So far, on this journey I've learned that counting lots of small objects is not in my future career path.....
